mysteries of cross-posting

Crossposted at www.sarahreesbrennan.com/blog

I am investigating the mysteries of cross-posting: pray ignore this blog post.

Or use it to command me to DO YOUR WILL. \’more parodies.\’ \’more online short stories.\’ \’more interpretative dance.\’

I am off to New York tomorrow: when I return I will SEE your COMMANDS.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I was beginning to wonder what was going on.

More book reviews! I do enjoy them so, and take them as commands, for I have loved every book I've read that you recommended!

I suspect that 'more interpretative dance' will have already occurred when you see our commands.

MOAR PARODIES! I commanded in allcaps, does that make it more commanding? I'm not a very commanding person, I fear.

Dead. Last night there were like 15 post notifications in my inbox and one has finally turned out to be real.

I'd like to see that!
I'd like to see an online short story about a struggling but talented interpretive dance artist parodying the creeping infiltration of mainstream Disney movies into classic comic opera.

I'm looking at YOU Opera Australia.

Twenty press-ups on your knuckles, a short story about a werewolf florist, and two hard-boiled eggs.

I am pretty much happy with anything, but I do admit I want more short-stories because they make my heart explode with glee.

More short stories! I hear there is going to be a Jamie POV one (after Surrender?) which fills me with unholy glee. But there should always be moooore of these :D :D :D

Oh no, Surrender will be the very end, because I feel after the end of a book people should get to fill in the future. Any stories will be set before or during or between - the Jamie idea I have is set during Covenant, and I hope you will enjoy!

a parodic shortstory transmitted through the medium of interpretative dance? You know you want to...

More Vampire Diaires parodies please! I started watching because of your last one and I'm enjoying it lots, but I do keep thinking 'MAN this would be hilarious in parodied-by-SRB form!'

Also a post about how Twilight is the same story as Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - were you serious about that? Because I am intrigued and on tenterhooks! It is quite painful.

Of course, you can never have too much interpretive dance in a blog.

Actually, I took a risk due to Sarah Recommendations and, at a book sale in the history department yesterday, picked up a battered old copy of the first two books in the series. Despite the way it was trying to sell itself ("A DEADLY LOVE TRIANGLE. Elena: the golden girl, the leader, the one who can have any boy she wants. Stefan: brooding and mysterious, he seems to be the only one who can resist Elena..." IN BLACK AND RED. WITH BLOOD.), I am trusting that it is, in fact, a clever parody of the genre and not just... silly. After reading the first few chapters... er... very very clever parody? I hope? We will see!
